The Huanuo Dual Monitor Arm is the cheap dual monitor arm that actually works. At $79 for a two-monitor mount rated to 27″ per panel, it’s roughly a tenth the price of the Ergotron LX Dual and — after 9 months of daily use on our test bench — it survives the workload without creeping, sagging, or loosening at the clamp.
What you give up vs. the LX Dual
The Huanuo uses a spring-tension adjustment instead of Ergotron’s Constant Force gas strut, which means you set the tension once with an Allen key and leave it there. You can’t freely move the monitors between low-typing and stand-up heights without re-tensioning, so if you change posture often, buy the LX. For fixed positioning it’s fine.
Where it surprisingly holds up
The C-clamp and grommet mounts are both solid steel and survive repeated remounting. Cable management is adequate. The weight capacity is honest — we’ve tested it at 17 lb per panel without sag.
Bottom line: Surprisingly solid for a sub-$100 dual arm. Best choice when budget rules out Ergotron.
