DeskGearReviews is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. Our Amazon Associates tag is deskgearrev-20. Any link on this site to Amazon.com includes this tag, which attributes the click to us.
Other affiliate programs
We also participate in affiliate programs run by other retailers and manufacturers (e.g. Uplift Desk, Anker, UGREEN, Thermoworks, KitchenAid, Williams-Sonoma, Awin network merchants). Where we link to a product via one of these programs, the same disclosure applies: we earn a commission if you purchase after following our link, at no extra cost to you.
How affiliate links appear
Every affiliate link on DeskGearReviews carries the HTML attribute rel="nofollow sponsored", which is Google’s official marker for monetized links. Affiliate links open in a new tab so you don’t lose your place in our review.
Editorial independence
Our editorial opinions are not influenced by affiliate relationships. We recommend products based on independent testing, research, and our editorial team’s expertise. We do not accept payment to write positive reviews. We do not rank products by commission size. If a product we recommend stops earning us an affiliate commission tomorrow, the recommendation stays if it still deserves to.
If we’re ever uncertain about a product’s quality, we say so directly in the review or leave it off the “best” list entirely — no product is better than a bad recommendation that loses reader trust.
Free products
We sometimes accept free product samples from manufacturers for testing. This does not guarantee a positive review, and we disclose it within the review itself when applicable. We do not keep review samples beyond the test period unless explicitly permitted by the manufacturer; many samples are returned or donated.
Sponsored content
If we ever publish paid/sponsored content, it will be clearly labeled as “Sponsored” at the top of the post and excluded from our “Best of” lists. To date DeskGearReviews has not accepted sponsored content.
