The electromagnetic scroll wheel automatically switches between notched clicking for line-by-line work and freewheeling for long documents. In practice it means you flick the wheel once and 10,000 lines of code scroll past in under a second, then you tap it to stop. Every other scroll wheel feels broken by comparison.
Precision and multi-device
8000 DPI tracking works on glass, USB-C charging gives 3 hours from a 1-minute quick-charge, and the three Easy-Switch buttons pair with three computers simultaneously. Logitech Flow lets you drag files between two machines with the mouse.
Bottom line: The productivity mouse default. Worth every cent of the $99.
