The Logitech MX Master 3S is a premium mouse aimed at power users. After using it daily for six months, I’ve got a good handle on what makes it shine and where it falls short. This isn’t a budget option, so let’s see if the features justify the cost.
What You’re Paying For
The main draw is the ergonomics and customization. The sculpted shape really does make a difference after a full workday, and the thumb rest is perfectly positioned. The MagSpeed wheel is fantastic for quickly scrolling through long documents or web pages. Button customization via Logitech Options+ is easy and powerful, letting you tailor the mouse to specific applications. I also appreciate the multi-device pairing; switching between my desktop and laptop is seamless.
The Compromise
The biggest downside is the price. While the features are nice, you’re definitely paying a premium for the Logitech brand and the overall polish. The plastic construction, while solid, doesn’t feel quite as luxurious as you might expect at this price point. Also, while the silent clicks are a welcome addition, they can feel a bit mushy compared to more tactile switches. The charging port is also still Micro-USB, which is a bit outdated for a premium device.
