The BenQ ScreenBar Halo promised to be the ultimate monitor light, and after six months of daily use, I’ve got a solid handle on what it delivers. It’s undeniably slick, but does the performance justify the premium price tag? Let’s break it down.
What You’re Paying For
This isn’t just a light bar; it’s a system. The wireless controller is genuinely useful, letting you adjust brightness and color temperature without fumbling for buttons on the bar itself. The rear ambient light is surprisingly effective at reducing eye strain, especially during long coding sessions. The clamp mechanism is sturdy and hasn’t budged, even on my curved monitor.
