I’ve been using the FlexiSpot Pro Plus Standing Desk for six months now, working from home full-time. It’s a solid, reliable standing desk, but it’s not perfect. Here’s what I’ve learned.
What You’re Paying For
The main selling point is stability, and it delivers. Even at its highest setting, my dual monitors barely wobble. The keypad is simple and intuitive, with programmable presets that I use constantly. The curved edge is surprisingly comfortable, especially after a long day of typing. It’s definitely a step up in ergonomics compared to my old flat desk, reducing wrist strain.
The Compromise: Wobble at the Edges
While the desk is generally stable, there’s a noticeable wobble if you apply pressure to the extreme edges, especially when fully extended. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it’s there. Also, the cable management tray is a bit flimsy and feels like a budget component on a otherwise premium desk. I ended up replacing it with a third-party solution. For the price, a better cable management system should be included.
Warranty and Overall Value
FlexiSpot offers a decent warranty (5 years on the frame, 2 on the motor), which gives some peace of mind. However, at its price point, the Pro Plus sits firmly in the mid-range. While it offers good stability and ergonomics, the cable management and edge wobble make it feel slightly overpriced. You’re paying for the brand reputation as much as the absolute best performance.
Solid standing desk that gets the job done, but consider alternatives if edge stability is critical.
